Lenzburg, March 31, 2025 – The Hero Group today announces that Giovanni Ciserani has resigned from his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors for personal reasons, effective at the end of March. Herbert Scheidt, previously Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been appointed as the new Chairman.

Ciserani has been an integral part of Hero over the past eight years, leading the company through significant growth and transformation. He expressed gratitude to the shareholders and the entire Hero team for their support and collaboration during his tenure.

"It has been an immense honor and pleasure to work with such a dedicated and talented team. I am confident that the company will continue to thrive in the future," said Ciserani.

The Board is pleased to welcome Herbert Scheidt as the new Chairman. A member of the Hero Board since 2010, Scheidt brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of leadership on various boards.

He held the position of Chairman of Vontobel AG and was Chairman of the Swiss Banker`s Association and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SIX Group AG (Zurich, Switzerland), for several years.

In addition to the Hero Group, he is Member of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Commerce Germany-Switzerland (Zurich), Member of the Presidium of the German Council for Foreign Relations  e.V. (DGAP), and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation

His appointment as Chairman of the Hero Group Board of Directors marks a new chapter for Hero as the company continues to focus on innovation.
