Partnerships and collaboration are essential to foster biodiversity, soil health and water stewardship throughout our entire value chain.
Our farmers and suppliers are our greatest allies. We support transition plans towards regenerative agriculture, follow scientific recommendation, and want to move from pilots to scale
The Hero Group is member of the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative Platform (SAI), the Regenerating Together Program and has a validated Science Based Target commitment (SBTi).
We partner with multiple environmental associations and NGOs such as reNature, Asociación de Naturalistas del Sureste (ANSE), Digital Data Farm, Bodensee Stiftung, Global Nature Fund, Bee or Not to Be, and Biodiversity in Good Company.
To drive positive change, we are open to sharing our experiences and knowledge in the areas of corporate responsibility, ecosystem actions, and regenerative agriculture with other companies and industry associations.
We contributed to the creation of a corporate biodiversity management guideline by the Federal Association of the German Food Industry, participated in a publication by WWF and Bain & Company on biodiversity opportunities and risks, and shared our experiences with initiatives such as the biodiversity check in interviews like the one from Haufe Sustainability.
